Chapter 29: End of the Line (Traveling Wilburys, 1988)

Congratulations! You have just received all 585 points. That’s it; pack it up, time to go home.

What’s that? You were expecting more? Something like fireworks, trumpets with a fanfare, or a press conference? Well, okay, if you insist…

>wait

Time passes...

>wait

Time passes...

>wait

Time passes...

>wait

Time passes...

Suddenly a sinister, wraithlike figure, cloaked and hooded, appears seeming to float in the air before you. In a low, almost inaudible voice he says, "I welcome you to the ranks of the chosen of Zork. You have persisted through many trials and tests and have overcome them all, dispelling the darkness of ignorance and danger. One such as yourself is fit to join even the Implementers!" He then raises his oaken staff and, chuckling, drifts away like a wisp of smoke, his laughter fading in the distance.

Fit to join the Implementers…let’s see, where were the implementers mentioned? That’s right, the Tomb of the Unknown Implementer. Here is the full description of the room:

This is the Tomb of the Unknown Implementer. A hollow voice says, "That's not a bug, it's a feature!" In the north wall of the room is the Crypt of the Implementers. It is made of the finest marble and is apparently large enough for four headless corpses. The crypt is closed. Above the entrance is the cryptic inscription: "Feel Free".

Yup, that’s the place. We’re going down again.

>save

Saved.

Oh, I forgot to mention…your points are now gone and you start over at zero. It's the price you pay…
